Tim’s wine journey began in the spice souks of the Middle East, taking an interest in food and exotic aromatics from a young age. Earl Grey & Jasmine Tea were the next step, along with diluted wine on family trips to Biarritz. The weekly British Sunday Roast with it’s omnipresent wine gave a broad exposure to the classic wines of the world. Things really became serious after a year spent in Bordeaux, as part of a four year French degree. Full immersion in Bordeaux food & wine culture lit a fire that is still burning brightly to this day.
With spells in restaurants, resorts, retail and clubs, Tim has an extremely broad level of industry experience and is currently the Director of Wines for The Pacific Club, Newport Beach.
