Sofia D’Argency Araiza, Judge, Portfolio Manager

Sofia holds a degree in Communication Sciences and has also obtained WSET 3 Level Certification from Florida Wine Academy, qualifying her as a Wine Sommelier. Sofia has worked as a Brand Ambassador and Sommelier at Cava Quintanilla, a Mexican Winery for three years. Currently, she serves as the Portfolio Manager at La Competencia Imports, the largest importer of Mexican wines into the United States. Sofia’s expertise and networking skills makes her a key liaison between Mexico and the United States. Sofia has also earned the certification of Tea Sommelier from the International Tea Masters Association in San Diego.
