Born and raised in Palermo Italy, He Came to America in 1992. Chef Francesco’s heart is always been in traditional Italian cuisine inspired by his mother’s cooking and childhood, but his modern twist and exhilarating presentation takes Italian food to new levels..
Since he arrived in America, Chef Francesco has worked with some of the most talented Chefs and renown Restaurants in California, Nevada and Arizona; He learned firsthand how serious the American consumer is especially when it comes to food and wine not to forget customer service. From early on he enjoyed creating great tasting food with much attention to presentation details. Chef Francesco has been sharing that same passion for cooking at his Restaurant since Rustico Ristorante open 2004. In 2012 He was awarded “So-Cal Top Chef” and in 2013 He won the “Pinnacle award” at Pachanga’s Chef Open. “I love to create food that looks beautiful and taste magnificent, always accompanied with the perfect wine”.
Chef Francesco new venture is to share his love and knowledge for food and the restaurant business to the young generation, teaching and mentoring young Chefs including his Son Antonio.“Much more is to come,” Chef Francesco says.
